Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) is one of China’s premier institutions, particularly renowned for its Atmospheric Sciences program, which ranks first nationally and holds international acclaim. Originally established as the Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in 1960, the university underwent significant expansion and was renamed in 2004.
